Hi,

First of all you should control your reumatoid arthritis; take the medication properly and have regular follow-up visits to your doctor.
If your arthritis will be on ontrol, the inflamation also will be controlled.
If you don't have other risk factors for cardiovasular diseases, there is no need for taking niacin, you only need to follow healthy lofestyle; have healthy diet, lose weight if you are overweight and exercise regularly.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
