What Should I Do To Stop Bleeding As Missed One Pill?

I was trying to skip period through use of pill in order for a planned IVF cycle. I have stupidly forgotten to take one pill and now have withdrawal bleeding. I missed one pill only and have kept taking it since remembering but still bleeding (although it s reduced). For the IVF schedule I need to get my period in 7 days. The plan was to stop taking the pill on the 26th may have the bleed, remain off the pill with IVF in June. What do I do to stop the bleeding, and if I stay now taking the pill for 7 days then stop for when I need the actual bleed to occur so that my normal 28 day cycle returns (this will then be a month if no pill) to increase chances of successful IVF?

Hello ma'am.

You may have to start a new cycle of pills and reschedule the IVF or revisit your doctor to either stop the current withdrawal bleed or to allow you to finish the current cycle and re-prescribe pills for the next cycle.

These are the safest options as of now ma'am. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
