What Should One Do To Relieve Upper Back Pain For A Month, Spreading To The Arms, And Medication Hasn’t Helped?

Sir, my girl friend suffer upper back pain since last one month. She visited to local doctor and take medicine as he advice but no improvement found. She suffers a lot and even she feels pain and discomfort in her arms also. I will be grateful if advice what should she do to get rid of such un bearable pain.
