What Should The HCG Level Be During Pregnancy?

hi, I have a HCG level question, since I m concerned. I found out I am pregnant and got my hCG read since I don t remember my last menstrual. Friday July 18, I got call and told my hCG was at 38, too low. but on Sunday, July 20 it was at 198, and today July 24 is at 900. since the first call worried me, is my hCG normal?

Hi, thanks for using HCM..
I understand your concern.. Is your periods normal conception or conceived after infertility treatment? Your hcg had a wide fluctuation.. Usually hcg level doubles by 48 hrs in a healthy pregnancy.. Your initial hcg level 38 corresponds to 4 weeks pregnancy. By 20th, it is expected to be 90 which is higher level for you. The hcg level rise looks like you have a twin pregnancy or a heterotropic pregnancy. Once the hcg level >1500, gestational sac can be seen through transvaginal scan. Rpt a hcg now and if its greater than 1500 consult your gynae to get a scan done. By Hcg u will be between 5-6 weeks by july 24th.
Dont worry.. If u have bleeding/pain abdomen , u need to report to ER.Hope i have answered your queries.. Good day.
