What Should The Dosage Of Gluconorm Be For Diabetes?

i am diabetic sice 2004, i am taking gluconorm pg 1 after breakfast , my fasting remains around 120 and pp remains around 180., average at 185 approx. my doctor advised to take gluconorm pg 1 before breakfast and added new medicine voglitor mf 0.2 with lunch . my querry whether, gluconorm pg 1 to be taken before of after breakfast . i am also feeling weakness and feared of bp. At present. i have no bp.my age 49, weight 85 kg and height is 170 cms.taking voglitor mf 0.2 will reduce sugar below desired level?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Gluconorm Pg1 is a combination of 3 tablets namely glimipiride, metformin and pioglitazone. The tablets which contain glimipiride should be taken 30minutes before food. timing is very important for full effect of the drug. Secondly it is a good thing to add voglitor but with the sugars you have mentioned i would have preferred to add voglitor with your breakfast to get a better post prandial value. Nevertheless adding vogliotor with metformin during lunch is fine. Now coming to voglitor, it is a very mild tablet which has a very short duration of action and reduces absorption of carbohydrates from food we take. SO do not worry you will not go into hypoglycemia. I hope i have answered all your queries satisfactorily.
