What Should We Do Next For My Son With 5 To 6 Days Of Cough And Fever?

My son aged 7 yrs , weight 30kg , is having cough and fever from around 5 to 6 days. Initially we gave him relent and nebulised twice. For fever we gave crocin ds for lower temperature, and if it crossed 101 we gave meftal. Since yesterday we are noticing that even after one hour of taking meftal the fever isn t getting down. So we had to do sponging. His spo2 levels are from 96 to 98. Today went for rtpcr as well. Please suggest what to be followed now.Regards.
