Hello,welcome to HCM. Anabolic steroids side effects have been documented to cause a large number of problems among people who take these in high doses. One of the most common side effects of the use of steroids is that these inhibit the natural hormones. This is because adding a hormone to the body gives the signal to the endocrinal system to stop producing hormones. Anabolic steroids side effects are different for different steroids. In some cases there may be a total shutdown of the testosterone production while in other cases the inhibition may be to a milder degree.

Balding is also one of the side effects of using anabolic steroids. This is particularly true if the men who take steroids are predisposed towards the male pattern baldness. Steroids cause premature balding because the scalp tends to react to Dihydrotestosterone and steroids can be converted to DHT.
