Hi,

I would explain that the gallbladder surgery is not considered as a major surgery. It can be performed with endoscopy or with open surgery.

It is usually performed in case of gallbladder stones.

Regarding the irregular heartbeat, I would recommend performing a cardiac ultrasound and an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring in order to investigate better for the type of cardiac arrhythmia.

You should know that the infection and the pain related to the gallbladder can trigger cardiac arrhythmia in susceptible persons.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
