What Symptoms Could Arise Post Surgery For Diverticulitis?

I am recovering from surgery for diverticulitis where my colon ruptured and doctors removed 11 inches of my colon. I am thankful to be alive since they told me that one more day and I would have been dead. My concern is that I had been told a few years ago that I had IBS and I wonder now if I would know what symptoms I would experience if I get that sick again. I really did not realize that I was so sick. Thanks.

I really appreciate your concern, if the diverticulitis being treated well then there would not be any symptoms but of course IBS may give some symptoms which may not be fatal one or danger so no need not be worried hope this information helps.
