What Test Result Should Come For Healthy Semen ?

hi,
my semen analysis reports are volume-3ml, colour-greyish white, viscosity-increased, pH-8.0, sperm count-53.3 millions/ml, actively motile-10%, sluggishly motile-20%, non-motile-70%, normal morphology-70%, abnormal morphology- 30%, WBC's-8-10/HPF. Can u please tell me whether there is any problem

Thanks for query .
The report of your semen analysis that you have posted can be analysed as under
1) Sperm count ,viscosity .Ph are within normal range as per WHO standards

2) The sperm motility which is important factor in fertility or to impregnate your wife especially of active motile sperm (10%) is below normal range of 20-30%(Asthenospermia)

3)Morphology of the sperm is acceptable .

4) Presence of 8-10 WBC suggests infection which needs to be controlled by taking antibiotics like Bactrin for one month .

Repeat semen anlysis after completion of antibiotics,
Dr.Patil.
