What Tests Can Be Done To Check Neck And Arm Pain?

I've had 2 ct scans of my neck for arm pain and they both confirmed that degenorative disc was my problem. However 2 week ago I had a Painful Mylogram done and the radiologist said my disc were not bad enough to cause arm pain or migraine, so now he wants to do a more painful discogram. Is there a better test or should I have a different radiologist read the Mylogram?
