What The Significance Of Lotte Intake During MTP?

hi , i have taken MTP on 25/9/12 as by Dr. advice . Dr told me to take the scan after 10 days, yesterday(8/10/12) i did the scan by another Dr.(she is also a Gynecologist) she advised me to take the Loette for 21 days. My qn is: Is it necessary to take the tablet ? why?

its contraceptive..after MTP its wise to avoid unwanted pregnancy...loette will act as contraceptive pill that will prevent further pregnancy..
