What Therapies Are Used To Treat Depression In Adults ?
Hello Good Afternoon Sir, My son, 26 yrs, height 5 3 , weight 35, is depressed completely due to break up with a girl. He is drinking liquor about 3-4 bottles per day. Else He remains silent all the time. I am very much worried about his behaviour and health. Kindly suggest me to get him out of this critically position.

Your son needs premarraige counsilling .his mind should be diverted skillfully at d things he liked most.and not these situations are end of d life.

You should be taking your Son to a Psychiatrist so that he can examine him and Prescribe antidepressants and Psychiatric Counseling. Else there is no way he can come out of it. He needs to stick to his treatment plan and go for regular follow up. He needs to stop drinking and smoking if he does. Ask him to exercise regularly, avoid stress, sleep for 8 hours daily and eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. He should be practicing relaxation techniques like Yoga and Meditation and learn more about depression, this will help him understand his situation better and will help him stick to his treatment plan.
