What Therapy Is Advisable For A Person With Severe Depression?

Years ago, I was in therapy. 22 years ago I became a widow with a 8 month old. She is now 22 doing well. But since the holidays I just cry all of a sudden. I realized I may need to start therapy again. I ve been on anti depressants for a long time. But I feel there not helping. What type of therapy should I consider?

Regarding your experience persistent depression following bereavement 22yrs ago I will suggest you definitely need a Psychotherapy and behavioral modification

So please see another psychiatric specialist for further clinical assessment and expert management

You can continue with your antidepressant pending your appointment
