HI THANKS FOR POSTING YOUR QUERY ON HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
GOING BY YOUR CLINICAL HISTORY AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION/BEHAVIOUR,ITS QUITE POSSIBLE TO GET INFECTED WITH HIV-AIDS WHEN CONTACTING A SEX WORKER IN HER MENSTRUAL CYCLE.CONDOMS ARE NOT 100% SAFE AND PROTECTIVE.HIV VIRUS WILL NOT BE DETECTED IN THE WINDOW PERIOD-MEANS FIRST 3 TO 4 MONTHS AFTER GETTING INFECTED WITH THE VIRUS.ITS VERY MUCH POSSIBLE FOR THE TESTS TO SHOW NEGATIVE RESULTS.I SUGGEST YOU GET SCREENED BY TAKING A COMBINATION OF HIV ELISA AND WESTERN BLOT FOR CONFIRMATION.THE TEST HAS TO BE TAKEN WITH AND POST TEST COUNSELLING.P24 ANTIGEN ASSAY WILL ALSO BE USEFUL.BASED ON RESULTS THE NEED FOR ANTI-RETROVIRAL THERAPY CAN BE STRESSED. I SUGGEST YOU CONSULT AN INTERNAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST IN YOUR CASE TO HELP YOU WITH THE TEST REPORTS.
THANK YOU.
TAKE CARE.
