Psychiatrist 's  Response
hi. thanks for writing. i have understood your concerns.

the symptoms you have described are of panic attacks with anxiety. it may be related to particular stress. this is also common in students.

these panic attacks usually starts suddenly and reaches its peak level within 5 to 10 minutes and most of the time subside on its own..person mat fell that he is going crazy or his heart will stop. feeling of impeding doom can be there..

these panic attacks can be controlled by doing relaxation exercise when they occur.

in my opinion you shud consult a psychiatrist and tell your problems and also tell if you have any stress going on. you can also visit a counselor for stress management. there are drugs like SSRI antidepressant which can control anxiety with anxiolytic medications.

if i would be your treating doctor i would have given you escitalopram and clonazepam combination. visit a psychiatrist and get treated for your anxiety. if you have any problem personally, so find out the solution and take help of your family and friends..

i hope this will be helpful to you,,best of luck..
