Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of itching on scalp, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an antifungal lotion like clotrimazole lotion twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral steroid, oral fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
