What To Do For Breast Pain Due To Productive Cough With Green Phlegm?
I have had an upper respiratory and bronchitis for over a month now. My doctor put me on Prednisone, allbuterol and a nasal spray after I had a round of an antibiotics Zithromaz 5 day. The nasal secretions are now clear, but still have a very productive cough with green phlegm. On Sunday I started to have this pain on my left breast, it feels like I pulled a muscle, but when I take a deep breath it hurts. Last night I was in dire pain, been taking 800 mg of ibuprophen but it only takes the pain away a little bit. It seems to be getting worse. Almost in tolerable. what should I do?
hi welcome to HCM i have read your query and concerned about your problems as you said you had bronchitis for a month and inspite of you being on antibiotica ,antiinflammatory agents and nsaids as you still have chest pain that to which increase on taking deep breadth it looks like it may be of pleuritic in origin(dry pleurisy/pleural effusion- fluid accumulation in lungs) or it might be pneumonia so i would suggest youi to consult your doctor and get an xray done hope your q is answered with warm regards Dr NSK
