What To Do For Discomfort, Sensitive To Light And Tears In Eye?

I have had a small piece of metal removed from my cornea Wednesday. The ophthalmologist said the the rust was pretty deep and wasn t able to get it all, prescribed me antibiotic drops and sent me off on my way. It s been four days now and my eye is still very sensitive to light, tears alot with some mild discomfort. Should I wait a couple days more or do I need to pay a visit to the doctor again?
