What To Do For Frequent Mouth Ulcer?

hello Doctor...My brother suffers from ulcers on his tongue (childhood) throughout the year with multiple ulcers on his inner cheeks, tongue tip and inside of mouth/lips whcih persist everytime for 10-12 days and again new ones prop up once old ones go.He always takes vitramin B tabs and relevants doc prescribed gels but nothign works for hium..Pls prescibe something whichwould help them heal up quicker and provide him relief..Also, any medines to prevent them from coming back .. I saw in some replies you have prescribed : tab.flanzen-10mg,thrice daily for 3 days. tab.wysalone-5mg,thrice daily for 3 days. Are these safe to be taken by my brother as he is 19 yrs and will be 20 yrs next month... PLEASE HELP ASAP..he is currently suffering from some ulcers for a week now and it s painful for him and they are not reducing even after 1 week Note : He has server gastric history and also,everytime he gets fever normal paracetomols don t work for him and he needs very high power antibiotics(like 600-650mg) to bring his fever down.

Hi,

The main problem is not ulcers but severe gastric upset, mouth ulcer is only one of the side effect, so get a proper treatment for gastric trouble from a gastroenterologist. And don't use any of the above mentioned medicine, they are harmful without prescription.
In the mean time ask him to gargle with Benzydine, like Tantum gargles, and use Zytee oral gel, these will help in relieving pain.
