What To Do For Missed Periods With Negative Pregnancy Test?

I am a 19 year old female, I weigh 240 pounds (have for 5 years), No stress, nothing has changed, Regular periods, Trying to get pregnant. My last period was July 15th. I took a pregnancy test September 9th it was negative. Could I still be pregnant or is it something else? Should I be worried?

Hello,

You should undergo one blood test for beta-hCG to clear doubt about pregnancy. Hormonal imbalance, mental stress, PCOD, Hypothyroidism, over weight, irregular diet habit can cause irregular late period without pregnancy.

You may need to undergo one USG scan and complete hormone test in the absence of pregnancy.

Take LOW carbohydrate diet, control body weight by regular exercise and avoid stress. Kindly, consult with your doctor regarding this.

Good luck.
