What To Do For Pain And Redness In Eyes?

I hurt my eye a week ago, as soon as I got hurt my eye became red and swollen.. But was fine in 2-3 days . I kept applying ice pack and hot pack. All of a sudden the Same eye is red again and it hurts if bright light hits it or I go out in the sun. What to do?

Seeing the history itappears tobe subconjuctival haemorhage. cold copress is ok but donot give hot compress.Now there is photofobia. Puton dark glass. Get examined by eye doctor.
