What To Do For Sharp Pain During Middle Of Night?

two times in the last couple of weeks I have experienced a sharp pain in the middle of the night. It was very hard to determine exactly where the pain was. It seemed to be coming from my genital area but not exactly. It definitely was not in my gut. It was a sharp pain that lasted for several minutes and then it was gone with no aftereffects. I am a male 67 years old in generally good health. Any ideas?
