What To Do For Sudden Itching Through Out The Body Leading Finally To Unconsciousness?

Dear Sir, i am asking this question for my father. He has 60 years old since last 2 years if he taking any medicine for any kind of pain with in 10 minute starting to itching all over the body and due to giddiness he falling down same condition 3 times he admitted in hospital (causality) with unconscious condition .after some vomiting he coming back to the normal. Doctor also telling drug allergy is very danger .please advise me to what i should do for avoid this situation .

Hi

Your father seems to be developing drug allergy after the intake of pain killers.
Such drug allergies tend to increase on every subsequent exposure to the offending agent. So you should take care not to give the same agent again to your dad to which he had developed allergy earlier.
Pain killers are a very important cause of such an allergic reaction. However paracetamol is still considered the safest in this group.
If he has not developed an allergy to this drug earlier, this can be used for pain relief.
