Hi ! I have gone through your query.
It is absolutely necessary to remove any supernumerary tooth before fixing braces on your teeth. The extraction sockets take typically 2 weeks to heal. Avoid spicy food and tobacco.Have a soft diet and use a mild mouthwash.Do not use painkillers other than paracetamol, unless you are advised by your doctor.
