What To Do For Swelling In Right Leg And Ankle With Clear Fluid?

My 3 1/2 year old son has a bite on his right leg on the inside by his ankle. It is very swollen and hard also hot and looks like a little clear fluid in the middle in a pocket. He wants to scratch it but I won't let him I put neosporn on it. What can I do? Should I take him to the doctor

Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM.
With no doubts you should see a doctor.
It can be Cellulitis or it can be an abscess, which would require antibiotic treatment.
And anti histaminics might be required depending on how old is the would.
A consideration would also be given to tetanus shot based on his immunisation history.
See a doctor get him treated perfectly.
