What To Do For The Bleeding Due To A Deep Cut In The Hand?

Hi,

I cut m finger at a joint to da and I believe it went quite deep and i think I ma see the bone. it hurts a lot and was bleed ing a lot at first and then stopped and bled again whe i accidentally knocked it a couple of hours later. i ran it under cold water and that hurt a lot so i must cut through the nerves badly.ive covered it in a plaster but just wondering whether I should do anthing more or go to a doctor
