What To Do For The Pain In Ear Started While Cleaning?

I was cleaning my right ear, became distracted and pushed the qtip to far in and hit my ear drum. My ear is ringing and I have a slight loss of hearing, with a ringing in my right ear. I had a doctor look at it, and there is fluid build up. I don't feel as if it is getting better.

what should I do?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

It is likely that you have damaged your ear drum or the wax has got stuck on the ear drum , dont worry as this will generally resolve on its own and needs no medications. if however it continues to worsen, meet your ent doctor , he will clean out your ear and you will feel better.
Thanks
