What To Do For The Severe Headache And Throat Ache?

Hi on friday i started having a throat ache and once my stomach was hurting..then it stopped, was only for like seconds...on saturday i started having fever..then on sunday i decided to go see a doc because i had high fever and i had gone once to the toilet and the feaces were not soo hard then i saw a doctor and he said i had gastroenteritis, the only thing is since he prescribed me, my throat is still hurting and i am having terrible headaches and since sunday i haven t been to the toilet, is that normal?

If you only had one episode of soft stool then it is unlikely that you have gastroenteritis.

The presence of headaches and severe sore throat indicate that you may have a upper respiratory tract infection.
Since the sore throat is not improving the infection may be bacterial or viral in which case antibiotics would be needed.
