What To Do For The Severe Headache During Seizure?

My daughter is 16 now, she has had 2 decompression brain surgeries because of Arnold chairi. She is now having episodes of seizure type things such as drooling fluttering eyelids and being non responsive for several minutes. Every time we take her somewhere to be treated its the same, these are not real and she needs to see a physciatrist!! She has severe headaches during these episodes and struggles to breathe. I now she is not crazy and these are real but where do I go for help with out automatically being sent to a physicatrists?

HI
Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic

The best option for your daughter is to get a test called EEG. This test done at the time of her Seizure will detect electrical changes in her brain and confirm that it is seizure . Such changes will not be seen if the seizure is not real.

Once it is confirmed that Seizures are real any neurologist has to agree and treat her for the same .

Hope you find this information useful.
