What To Do For The Swelling In The Front And Below The Ear?

I have painful swelling below and in front of may ear, I have had this problem before and it was diagnosed as a swollen saliva gland. My question is - what treatment is appropriate for this problem? I have been massaging the swollen spot and it goes down until I begin to chew again. Please advise, Thanks

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
By your history it looks like you are suffering from parotitis, which is a salivary gland, my advice for you is to take lot of fluids, sour candy and consult an ent specialist to confirm the diagnosis, meanwhile you can continue massaging, it is helpful in clearing secretions, take care.
