What To Do For The Swollen Legs?
Hellow doctor, I m having thyroid problem from past 10 months and I am taking thyroxine 50 mg tablets daily, from past 2days my legs are seen in swollen condition.i am not sure about the reason for this ,can you please advise me what action to be taken for this?

I carefully read your concerns and i am trying to give you some possible reasons that might cause your problem.
First of all i would like to know how is your hormonal level under thyroxine 50? Is this dose enough or your didn't check them since you started the treatment? If not i would recommend you to do a TSH level.
You didn't mention your age and other co-morbidities, do you have cardiac or hepatic problems? Or are you taking other medications except thyroxine?
Other possible reasons for your swollen legs might be an urinary problem, so this would be the third line of investigation.
