What To Do For Uncontrolled Erection Suddenly?

During my last yearly physical, when my doctor was examining my lower abdominal area, I started to get an erection ... my doctor continued with the exam and did not seem to be bothered, but I could not control what happened; I became fully erect as he continued to examine my penis and genitals ... it had never happened before and I was very embarrassed ... I hope it does not happen again ... I am 67 years old, 5' 9" tall, and weight 164 lbs; I thought this was something that might happen to much younger men, not someone my age.

Hello,

The erection while being examined by doctors are common and that is the reason why your doctor did not worry about it at all. You also should not worry. Anxiety can cause erection too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand, Psychologist
