What To Do If Getting Nipping Pains In Chest And Frequent Palpitations?

Hi, I have been getting little nipping pains in my chest, its not very painful but it is worrying. I also frequently suffer palpitations, I think this is probably due to high caffiene intake. I am 38 year old female weighing around 210 pounds, 5 feet 9, with no other health problems.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, we should first rule out heart diseases because palpitation and Chest pain are common in heart diseases.
So consult doctor and get done
1. Blood pressure monitoring
2. Ecg
3. 2d echo.
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Sometimes, gastritis (due to high caffeine) can also cause similar symptoms. So avoid excessive caffeine. Avoid hot and spicy food. Take proton pump inhibitors. Avoid stress and tension.
Don't worry, you will be alright, but first rule out heart diseases.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
