What To Do If Having A Dark Spot On Face After Using Dermaroller For A Long Time?
hello. I order a derma roller for face needling online and I did it too long and it s been 3 months and my face is still have a dark brown spot on it, before was really red and it s very hard for it to fade and I don t know if it did burn my skin or not because it had a v beam light but they said the light not supposed to do anything to the skin. I think it damage the blood vessels. I didn t feel any pain, just a little bleeding and I really need answer on how to clear it and what I should do. Will the brown spot fade by itself?
Hi. As per your case history you are having post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. My treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Apply a kojic acid cream like kojivit twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months. 4. Other treatment options are topical hydroquinone, chemical peeling done by dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
