Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of flushing and high blood pressure suggest a pheochromocytoma which is a tumor of adrenal gland.
The tumor secretes adrenaline and nor-adrenaline.
These two hormones are responsible for the symptoms of flushing and increased blood pressure.
Investigations to look for presence of pheochromocytoma needs to be done.
You need to consult your doctor for further investigations.
If carcinoid is suspected, then there are other sites where carcinoid can develop- common one being lungs.

Thanks and take care
