What To Do If The HCG Levels Went Down From 255 To 195 During The Third Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I am now 3 weeeks into my prgenancy & hcg level went from 255 to 195 in 2 days. I Dr. started me on Crinone but called backed after getting results to tell me to stopp using the suppositories because it is not a good pregnancy. My question is do you know or think that my prgeterone levels will increase so that my pregnancy can be saved?

Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
A decline in HCG levels clearly indicates that it is a failing pregnancy.
It would not progress normally.
Once the pregnancy is not viable anymore, there is no point in trying to raise progesterone levels.
You were already on Crinone, but now that the levels are falling, there is no point in continuing it.
Please stop all medications, and have termination if needed.
This could be merely a chemical pregnancy.
