hi,i am an dialysis patient.i have an av graft in my right upprr arm.went for dialysis,when needle was inserted.was in extreme pain,plus blood clot came out into syringe,nurse tried 4 times ,no blood was coming out,now vein is very tender,graft is still pumpimg well

Quite likely there is acute clot formation in your graft as its pulsatile and there is no blood flow. In a graft the likelyhood of improvement in that is less although its good to meet your vascular surgeon at the earliest.
