Hello and thank you for asking!
I read carefully your query and understood your concern.
If the thyroid hormone level is not normal you should start the treatment as soon as possible in order to avoid future damages to the baby and to have a good pregnancy outcome.
The thyroid hormones have a crucial role in the physical and mental development of the baby that is why it is very important to keep them within the normal ranges during pregnancy. You must not neglect it.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
