Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

From what you have mentioned, it is highly likely that you might be suffering from depression. Feeling low, decreased self confidence, loss of interest are all features of depression. You should consult a psychiatrist for your problems.

Depression can be effectively treated with medications. Medications like sertraline, esctilalopram, etc are effective as well as safe. There is also an option of psychotherapy in form of cognitive behavior therapy, if someone trained is available in your area.

Best wishes.
