What Treatment Is Recommended For A Person Suffering From Bi-polar Symptoms?

hi, my sister is with her friend on holidays in Thailand who forgot to bring her medication on holidays. She is having attacks which seem to be bi-polar. I am not a doctor so I obviously cannot diagnose it. I am wondering is there anything you can recommend they do to ensure that they get her home safe and sound. She has said she is having suicidal thoughts.
