What Treatment Is Suggested For Bilateral Pneoumonia ?

my best friend is in the hospital on a ventilator and she is nt able to breathe on her own ..they have done tests,biopsies and nothing has come back they had originally diagnosed with bilateral pneoumonia..now she has a fever of 103..they did have her in a medically induced coma and paralyzed .then have cut down on some meds.they cant find out what the problem is they think it may be viral and say that her lungs are inflammed..are there any other options..please help..she is 36 years old..

I really sorry for your friend, and appreciate your concern, I guess that she must be under the intensive care unit and they must trying with their best to pull her out of the critical conditions looking to her age the prognosis would be good giving good response to line of treatment is very important, only time will tell us lets hope for the good, I wish for rapid recovery for your friend, have nice day.
