What Treatment Is Suggested For Migraine Headache?
Hi, sorry to bother you, I am fed up with my constant headaches, these often turn into migraines. I get up to use the loo a couple of times a night, and recently I am very thirsty. I am only 42 and should be able to sleep all night at my age. Thanks for listening.
I read carefully your question and would explain that it is important excluding other possible causes of this clinical symptomatology (for example a brain lesion).
It is not typical of migraine waking from sleep. From the other hand the thirst is not typical of any type of headache.
I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful physical exam, a brain CT scan or MRI (if possible) and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, inflammation tests, blood electrolytes, blood osmolarity, fasting glucose).
Hope to have been helpful! Kind regards, Dr. Aida
