General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Healthcare Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern.

The blood analyses you performed show only a pattern of a slight anemia, which has to be further evaluated and treated, but have nothing to do with your mothers behavioural changes. Potassium level of 3.5 is considered normal, nothing to worry about.
Sudden presentation should be considered emergent and you will need to do investigation to rule out any possible serious disorder and my advice is to seek a consult with your local neurologist.
However, taking in consideration your mothers age it could present an early sign of Alzheimer's disease. Having trouble with memory does not mean you have Alzheimer's. Many health issues can cause problems with memory and thinking. When dementia-like symptoms are caused by treatable conditions such as depression, drug interactions, thyroid problems, excess use of alcohol or certain vitamin deficiencies, they may be reversed.
Your neurologist may advice your mother to make also a CT scan, to make an appropriate differential diagnosis.
Regarding your mothers anemia, I would recommend to perform a complete blood count and a peripheral blood smear.

Hope I helped with my answer. For further concerns or follow up questions feel free to ask again.

Kind Regards,
Dr. Ina
