What Treatment Is Suggested For Thyroid Which Reads For About 133.509 MIU/ML?
hi,,my sister took a thyroid test ,,,it read 133.509 mIu/ml....she was taking thyronorm 25mcg before and stopped a week before...ahe had two missed abortions also earlier....but before pregnancy she didnt have thyroid..what does this mean? myself and my mother too have hypo thyroidism

SInce there is strong family history, your sister is likely to have hashimoto's hypothyroidism. She will require full replacement dose ( looking at her TSH value). Whats her weight. This is required to correctly calculate the dose. Get an Anti TPO level done.
Hypothyroidism can cause abortions. So please make sure that her TSH levels are
