What Treatment Is Suggested For Viral Fever?
i have viral fever and taking some tablets but problem is that when i take tablets my body becomes hot and i feel like burning . other thing is that my body gets sudden cold and hot . i am taking paracetamol dolo 650. why is that my body gets heated instead of recovering

Hello dear,
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to Viral fever.
Symptomatic management involves:
1. Analgesic anti-pyretic agents like Paracetamol.
2. Cold water sponging of the body to relieve the temperature.
3. Anti histamine preparations can also be used for symptomatic relief.
4. Maintain adequate hydration & proper nutrition.
If there is no relief even after 02 days, you need to get certain investigations like complete blood count, urine examination, peripheral smear for malaria, Dengue check, blood culture & X ray of chest.
These investigations will be helpful in detecting the pathological cause & formulating further plan of management.
