Hello,
Thank you for the query on HCM,
I have gone through your brother history, As he has undergone hiatus hernia repair, during his stay in the hospital has led to the occurrence of present condition of bilateral Pneumonia.
In some patients it is bound to happen and we will call this type of infections as Hospital Acquired Infection.
Nothing to worry as he is very nauseatic and infection.
I would like advise him a
1. Injectable Antibiotics
2. IV Fluids
3. Inj Emset for nausea and vomiting.
Don't worry i hope your doctor has initiated this treatment.I wish speedy recovery of your brother.
Thank You.
