Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Post acne Hyperpigmentation is a common sequelae of acne.

Ingredients like glycolic acid, arbutin and kojic acid dipalmitate are skin lightening agents. Arbutin and kojic acid inhibit the synthesis of new melanin whereas glycolic acid exfoliates existing melanin, thus gradually fading away the hyperpigmentation.

At the start of therapy it is advisable to use this cream once daily at night OR for 2 hours every night, because it has some irritation potential. Later once the skin gets used to it, it can be used twice daily. With this cream one can expect noticeable improvement by 2-4 weeks and so on.

It is also advisable to use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UV B and UV A protection, throughout the day
