What Treatment To Be Taken For Acute Sinusitis?

hello sir i have acute sinusits problem since four months before and since that time its was digonesd by X-RAY.....my ENT docter prescribe me (ciproflaxacin+amoxiclave )AUGMENTIN 625mg (O.D) along with antiallergic tablet TELFAST(O.D) and a nasal spray (xynosine)OXYCHROME.....after 15 days it was a bit better then my docter prescribe me (moxiflaxacin)SANTOMAX (O.D) along with vitamin tables CENTRUM.....i continued with this prescription for 15 days more and then i was felt much better then my docter ask me for an X RAY again i did it was a bit hessiness was still there in the X RAY....and now he prescribe me MOXIFLAXACIN(MOXIGET) (O.D).....i want to ask from you that should i countinue this treatment or what you suggest for me....and one thingh more i want to ask sir i have heard that the nasal spray XYNOSINE has adverse effects if it anyone uses it for long term...i am using it since 4 months and still my docter is saying to countinue with it three time a day ....

hello,thanks for ur query, xynose sprey should not be used more than 7days.it causes rhinitis medicamentosa in overusage. related to ur sinusitis,more than 4 months ,its says chronic sinusitis.medical treatment will not help in chronic sinusitis,u need to undergo surgery depanding on the finding of ct pns.kindly visit an ent surgeon for proper evaluation by examination,ct pan and treatment.all d best.take care.
