Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. This type of throbbing,
hemicranial headache (one side headache), occurring in episodes for years, associated with nausea is most commonly due to Migraine. Other than this, it could be due to mass lesion in brain.
To confirm diagnosis, you have to
consult doctor. After evaluation, he might prescribe CT/MRI brain to rule out mass lesion in brain. Treatment will be decided after imaging report. Migraine is managed by medication, while mass in brain requires surgery.
For pain relief, you can
: Take painkiller like
Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription
: For nausea relief, you can take combination of Domperidone-
Pantoprazole after proper prescription
: You can massage your scalp
: Avoid bright light, stress
: Maintain a proper 8 hours sleep routine
: If you are using glasses for
refractive error, don't do work without wearing glasses
: In case of migraine, avoid dairy products, chocolate, citrus fruits like lemon orange etc.
Hope it will help you. Take care. Thanks.
